The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing APIs using Java in a cloud-native environment. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable and secure services in the cloud, with hands-on experience in containerization and cloud platforms.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using Java in a cloud environment- Work with containerization tools like Docker for application packaging and deployment- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions- Ensure code quality and performance through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing- Integrate APIs with front-end systems and other backend services- Monitor and maintain cloud-based services, ensuring high availability and scalability- Follow Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectivesRequired Skills : - Strong hands-on experience in Java and API development- Experience in cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP); experience with AWS or Azure is also acceptable- Proficiency in Docker and other containerization technologies- Good understanding of microservices architecture and deployment in cloud environments- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks (ref:hirist.tech)
