About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Java/API Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Core Java and API development using Spring Boot, with hands-on experience in microservices architecture and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Maintain high code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and best practices.
  • Integrate applications with internal and external systems using APIs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement efficient solutions.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git) for deployment automation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with RESTful API design, integration, and testing tools (Postman, Swagger).
  • Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and API Gateway concepts.
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Understanding of DevOps tools (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes) is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems (Git).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications in Java, API, or Cloud technologies will be a plus.
