
Manager - P&L Operations

Position Overview:
- The Operations Manager will take end-to-end responsibility for managing business operations, financial outcomes, and strategic execution for a key division.
- This role requires P&L ownership, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination to drive profitability and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is someone who can implement structure, scale operations, and contribute to business growth through effective execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Operations Management
- Lead daily operations and delivery execution across the division, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality.
- Establish, optimize, and enforce SOPs, operational workflows, and internal controls.
- Manage cross-border team coordination, process standardization, and performance alignment.
2. P&L Ownership & Financial Control
- Take full ownership of division-level P&L - including revenue generation, cost management, and profitability targets.
- Track key financial KPIs and budget performance; drive corrective actions as required.
- Coordinate with the finance team to maintain financial hygiene and reporting accuracy.
3. Legal & Contractual Oversight
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements, service contracts, vendor MOUs, NDAs, and other commercial documents.
- Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and risk mitigation.
4. Strategic & Performance Optimization
- Analyze operational metrics and business performance data to identify areas of improvement.
- Drive automation and process digitization wherever applicable.
- Prepare regular management reports and dashboards for review by senior leadership.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage a team of 8-15 people across functions such as support, delivery, and administration.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and mentoring to enable individual and team growth.
- Work closely with HR, Legal, Business Development, and other internal departments to ensure cohesive operations.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations, or related discipline (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 8 years of experience in operations management, business execution, or similar leadership roles.
- Demonstrated experience with P&L management, operational scaling, and cost optimization.
