We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Software Architect with over 7 years of experience to lead the design and development of our software systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of architectural principles, a proven track record of building scalable and resilient applications, and the ability to mentor and guide development teams. This role is for a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into robust and innovative technical solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities :

Architectural Design: Lead the design and development of system architecture, including defining the technical stack, architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven), and design principles.

Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to multiple development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and best practices.

System Scalability: Design systems that are highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant to meet current and future business needs.

Code Review & Mentorship: Conduct high-level code reviews and architectural reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to design specifications. Mentor and coach developers on architectural best practices.

Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve system performance, efficiency, and development velocity.

Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, and other architects to understand business requirements and translate them into a clear architectural vision.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design documents, diagrams, and technical Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to system architecture and performance.

Security: Ensure that all architectural designs incorporate security best practices and compliance requirements.

Skills and Qualifications :

Required :

Experience : 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2-3 years in a software architect or a similar senior role.

Architectural Patterns : Strong expertise in designing and implementing various architectural patterns like Microservices, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Monolithic.

Cloud Platforms : Extensive experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including a solid understanding of cloud-native services.

Programming Languages : Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, Node.js) and their respective ecosystems.

Databases : Deep knowledge of database systems (both SQL and NoSQL) and experience with database design and optimization.

APIs : Expertise in designing and building RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and understanding API gateways.

Problem-Solving : Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Communication : Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred :

DevOps : Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Caching & Messaging : Experience with caching technologies (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

Certifications : Professional certifications in cloud architecture (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).

Leadership : Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
