Required candidate profile
1. Sales & Revenue Generation
Achieve or exceed monthly and annual banquet sales targets.
Maximize revenue through up-selling and effective pricing strategies.
Track and analyze banquet revenue trends and implement corrective measures when needed.
2. Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers, etc.
Ensure high client satisfaction through timely communication and seamless event coordination.
Manage client feedback, resolve complaints, and enhance client retention.
3. Lead Generation & Conversion
Identify new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and referrals.
Convert leads into confirmed bookings through effective pitching and follow-ups.
Maintain an up-to-date database of prospective clients and event partners.
4. Event Planning & Coordination
Liaise with the banquet operations team to ensure flawless execution of events.
Oversee banquet booking process including contract signing, deposits, and event details.
Ensure compliance with venue policies, licensing, and event safety standards.
5. Team Collaboration & Supervision
Work closely with chefs, banquet operations, and service teams to deliver customized solutions.
Provide guidance to sales coordinators and junior team members.
Participate in cross-functional meetings for better event planning and execution.
6. Reporting & Documentation
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and revenue forecasts.
Document all client communications, contracts, and event specifics.
Maintain organized records of sales activities and performance KPIs.
7. Marketing & Promotion
Collaborate with the marketing team on promotional campaigns for banquet spaces.
Participate in trade shows, expos, and other industry networking events.
Develop sales kits, brochures, and digital presentations for clients.

8. Cost Control & Budgeting
Monitor budget adherence for each event.
Suggest cost-effective options to clients while maintaining quality.
9. Competitor Analysis
Keep an eye on competitor pricing, packages, and trends.
Recommend changes in strategy to maintain a competitive edge.
