Job Title:
AVP – Institutional Sales (Healthcare & Pharmaceutical)
Geography of Control: PAN India
Reporting To: CEO or Director – Business Growth
Job Location: Mumbai
Education Qualification:
Graduate or Postgraduate from any reputed institute
Work Experience:
10+ years of total experience, with at least 5 years in leading sales/growth teams
Preferred Sector:
Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, Medical Communication Agencies, Healthcare Startups, Digital Health Platforms
Key Responsibilities
· A) Strategic Sales & GTM Execution
· Build Pharma-specific Go-To-Market strategy for PAN India
· Engage pharmaceutical clients using healthcare data aggregation, patient engagement initiatives, and digital outreach programs
· Identify target markets and deploy Business Development Managers strategically
· B) Revenue Growth & Customer Success
· Drive achievement of aggressive revenue and expansion targets
· Ensure smooth onboarding and support of institutional clients
· Build cross-sell opportunities within large organizations
· C) Team Leadership & Performance Management
· Hire, coach, and lead high-performing sales & support teams across geographies
· Set KPIs and performance metrics, monitor closely for course correction
· D) Institutional Alliances & Strategic Partnerships
· Identify and onboard large institutional healthcare clients
· Manage daily operations and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
· Ensure timely delivery of services and milestone achievements including payment collections
· E) Cross-functional Collaboration
· Work closely with internal teams across product, tech, ops, and marketing
· Provide market feedback for GTM strategy refinement
· F) Market Intelligence & Agility
· Stay ahead of evolving healthcare trends and competitor activities
· Drive agility and responsiveness within teams to adapt to changes in tech and regulations
· G) Regulatory and Compliance Understanding
· Ensure adherence to industry codes, tax norms, regulatory and financial compliance, especially when working with pharmaceutical clients
· H) Product & Tech Collaboration
· Understand product capabilities and effectively demonstrate solutions to CXOs and institutional stakeholders
· Collaborate with product team to relay real-time market feedback

· Strong strategic thinking combined with execution excellence
· P&L ownership and growth hacking mindset
· Exceptional team leadership and communication skills
· Familiarity with healthcare ecosystem, especially pharma, SaaS, B2B platforms, and digital health
· Willingness to travel extensively across cities
