Business Analyst

The Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in analyzing, enhancing, and implementing Cash Management Systems (CMS) to optimize cash flow operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of banking, treasury operations, and cash management solutions while acting as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis :

- Work closely with business stakeholders to identify requirements for the Cash Management System.

- Analyze existing cash management processes, workflows, and identify areas of improvement.

- Document functional and non-functional requirements.

2. System Implementation and Support :

- Collaborate with IT teams to design, develop, test, and deploy CMS solutions.

- Support the configuration and integration of the system with internal and external financial systems (ERP, payment gateways, etc.).

- Oversee end-to-end testing, including UAT (User Acceptance Testing).

3. Process Optimization :

- Analyze cash management workflows for automation opportunities and enhanced efficiency.

- Propose process improvements for better cash forecasting, reconciliation, and payment processing.

4. Stakeholder Communication :

- Serve as the liaison between business teams (Treasury, Finance, Operations) and IT teams to ensure alignment.

- Conduct workshops and meetings to review system capabilities and business requirements.

- Present progress reports, project milestones, and system enhancements to leadership.

5. Documentation :

- Prepare BRD (Business Requirement Document), FSD (Functional Specification Document), user guides, and process flows.

- Document project progress, system configurations, and business process changes.

6. Training and Change Management :

- Train end users on CMS functionalities and processes.

- Support change management activities to ensure seamless adoption of the CMS.

7. Performance Monitoring :

- Ensure the CMS operates effectively, troubleshoot issues, and provide continuous improvement Monitor KPIs related to cash management processes such as cash reconciliation time, payment processing SLAs, etc.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

- Masters degree (preferred) or equivalent experience.

Experience :

- 47 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in banking, treasury systems, or financial applications.

- Experience working with Cash Management Systems (e.g., Kyriba, SAP Cash Management, Oracle, or other CMS).

- Familiarity with ERP systems and integrations (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of cash flow processes, payments, and reconciliation.

- Knowledge of APIs, payment integrations, and SWIFT/ACH/NACH transactions is a plus.

- Proficient in MS Excel, Visio, JIRA, SQL (optional but desirable).

Soft Skills :

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal abilities.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
