This role demands a seasoned leader with deep domain expertise in Fintech, Lending Products, and B2C sales ecosystems.The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of scaling large on-ground sales teams, building high-velocity funnels, and driving aggressive growth across diverse markets. This position is central to our expansion strategy, enabling deeper penetration in merchant and retailer networks while ensuring seamless alignment between sales, product, and business goals.You will be responsible for leading a PAN India field force of 1200+, managing multi-tier sales structures, and building capabilities to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.Key Responsibilities1. Merchant & Retailer Expansion:- Develop and execute merchant acquisition strategies across retail, semi-urban, and urban segments.- Build strong feet-on-street (FOS) frameworks tailored to geography, lending products, and risk appetite.- Expand acceptance of digital lending solutions, merchant credit, and QR-based payment offerings.2. Leadership of Large-Scale Sales Operations- Lead, mentor, and grow a national field sales organization of minimum 1200+ members, including Zonal, Regional, Area Managers, and FOS teams.- Build a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.- Implement structured training, productivity enhancements, and capability development plans.3. Sales Funnel Ownership- Take complete ownership of the end-to-end sales journey-from lead generation to onboarding, activation, and early usage.- Ensure funnel hygiene, conversion excellence, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).- Track and optimize field metrics including CPA, activation rate, productivity per executive, turnaround times, and repeat usage.4. Performance Management & Market Penetration- Design monthly and quarterly sales plans aligned with business growth projections.- Drive output across markets through structured reviews, dashboards, and data-driven interventions.- Plan and execute innovative promotional campaigns and micro-market penetration strategies.5. Stakeholder Management & Cross-functional Alignment- Collaborate closely with Product, Risk, Credit, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure market needs are addressed.- Bring structured feedback from the field to influence product roadmaps and operational improvements.6.
