Vidaxl - Senior Associate - Accounts Payable

- We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accounts Payable Senior Associate to join our shared services team.- The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in accounts payable.- As a Senior Accounts Payable Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the accounts' payable function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities:- Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents to ensure accuracy of billing and payments.- Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues in a timely and professional manner, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders.- Review and reconcile vendor statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or outstanding items.- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledger to the general ledger.- Prepare and process payment batches, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.- Maintain vendor master data and ensure compliance with vendor setup and maintenance procedures.- Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation and resolving audit inquiries.- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the accounts payable function.- Provide training and guidance to junior accounts payable staff as needed. Qualifications:- 6+ years of experience in accounts payable.- 4+ years of experience with SAP.- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor management.- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience in SAP or Oracle preferred.- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues independently.
