Solid understanding of how layout impacts circuit performance (speed, area, etc.). Ability to implement layouts that meet tight design constraints and deliver high quality. Hands-on experience with CADENCE/SYNOPSYS layout tools and flows. Familiarity with scripting languages (PERL/SKILL) is a plus.
