Technical Skills :


- Java, Object Oriented Programming (OOPs), Data Structures, Algorithms and J2EEObject-Oriented Programming (OOP ) : Understanding inheritance, encapsulation, polymorphism, abstraction, and interfaces.


- Java Syntax : Mastering keywords, data types, operators, control flow statements, and clean coding practices.


- Data Structures and Algorithms : Familiarity with arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, sorting, searching algorithms, and efficient coding techniques.


- Core Java : This is the foundation. You'll need strong proficiency in Java syntax, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts like inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation.


- Java Ecosystem : Understanding the broader Java world is crucial. This includes build tools like Maven or Gradle, version control systems like Git, and popular libraries like Apache Commons.


- Web Technologies : For web development, familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is often expected, along with backend technologies like Servlets, JSP (Java Server Pages), and frameworks like Spring or Spark.


- Databases and APIs : Java applications interact with databases. You'll likely need to know JDBC (Java Database Connectivity) and understand how to work with APIs for data exchange.


Soft Skills :


- Problem-Solving : Being a skilled developer means being able to break down complex problems, think critically, and find elegant solutions.


- Communication : Collaborating effectively with teammates, both technical and non-technical, is key. This includes clear written and verbal communication.


- Teamwork : Java developers rarely work in isolation. You'll need to be adaptable, work effectively as part of a team, and be open to feedback.
