Job Summary:

We are actively seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager with a proven ability to successfully build and develop teams. The role entails leading various HR initiatives, notably payroll processing, and being instrumental in team development. The ideal candidate will excel in navigating the dynamic and distinct challenges of the ride-hailing industry, demonstrating proficiency across a broad range of HR disciplines. Additionally, the candidate should be able to assist in setting up operations in Hyderabad, ensuring a smooth and efficient launch.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Building and Talent Strategy:

  • Significant experience in building and nurturing high-performance teams, particularly in dynamic startup environments.
  • Ability to identify talent needs, develop recruiting strategies, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record in leading HR initiatives, team development, and conflict resolution.


IT Talent Acquisition and Hiring:

  • In-depth knowledge of the IT industry's hiring landscape, with expertise in sourcing and recruiting top talent for roles.
  • Utilization of innovative recruitment tools and platforms to attract and retain skilled IT professionals.


Regional Team Integration and Management:

  • Strong self-motivation and discipline to work autonomously and as part of a geographically dispersed, regional team.
  • Skilled in remote collaboration, cross-cultural communication, and maintaining engagement with the broader regional team.


HR Management, Compliance, and Employee Engagement:

  • Provide expert guidance on complex HR matters, ensuring compliance with national, state, and local employment laws.
  • Develop, communicate, and enforce HR policies, staying informed about legal and industry changes.
  • Oversee the employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including performance management, and compensation and benefits programs.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement and develop a positive workplace culture.


 

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 – 15 years of experience in HR management, including at least 5 years in recruitment.
  • Proven experience in setting up new offices and operations from the ground up.
  • Experience in successfully building and developing new teams.
  • Extensive HR experience, encompassing roles in employee relations or as an HR generalist.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for addressing complex HR issues.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and align them with organizational goals.
