About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance database solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in complex SQL query writing, performance tuning, and data modeling, along with the flexibility to learn and adapt to new database tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable PostgreSQL database solutions.

- Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.

- Implement efficient data models and ensure adherence to data security best practices.

- Optimize queries and database performance through indexing, normalization, and tuning.

- Develop and execute backup/recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

- Collaborate with application teams to integrate PostgreSQL databases with backend systems.

- Work on ETL pipelines and data integration processes when required.

- Stay updated with emerging database tools, technologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 46 years in database technologies, with at least 2 years in PostgreSQL.

- Strong skills in query optimization, performance tuning, and data security.

- Hands-on experience with indexing, normalization, and schema design.

- Proficiency in backup and recovery strategies.

- Exposure to ETL processes and PostgreSQL integration with application layers.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

- Strong verbal, written, and listening skills for stakeholder communication.

Nice-to-Have :

- Familiarity with additional database tools or languages aligned to client needs.

- Experience with modern data integration frameworks and backend systems.
