- Lead end-to-end silicon validation activities post-silicon tape-out, covering SoC functional blocks, interconnects, memory subsystems, power domains, and coherency across compute subsystems. Collaborate with design, architecture, and software teams to define validation plans, execute test content, perform system bring-up, and root-cause failures.Solid hands-on work experience in Baremetal, uboot, Linux, C / C++ programming
- Defining high level requirements, validation planning (and implementing software components for fully validating a SoC design in a pre-silicon (emulation, FPGA prototyping etc.) and post-silicon validation automated environment.
- Deep understanding of SoC architecture, CPU subsystems, MMU, caches, memory controllers, and interconnect protocols (AXI/CHI).
- Experience in bare-metal and OS-level validation flows.
- Hands-on with silicon debug tools: JTAG, Logic Analyzers, Trace analyzers (ETM, STM), DFT infrastructure.
- Strong scripting (Python, Perl), C test content development, and validation automation frameworks.
- Experience in working in any of the Subsystems like Graphics, DDR / HBM memories, PCIe/CXL, USB 3.1, Audio (I3C, DMIC, Soundwire*), Vision (MIPI, image pre-proc), security and crypto blocks (AES etc.), Video, High speed Ethernet/ networking preferred
- Helping to manage first / second level debug of failing tests and work with design owners to resolve issues.
- Maintaining and enhancing the validation infrastructure by creating new tools to support validation
- Experience with KPI benchmarks (Dhrystone, CoreMark, SPEC)
- Understanding of power and thermal profiling at block and SoC levels.
