Job Title: SoC Validation Lead Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled SoC Validation Lead Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, designing test environments, and collaborating with architects, RTL designers, and software development teams to enable the pre-silicon and post-silicon validation verification of next-generation SoCs on multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, design test environments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful SoC validation.
  • Work closely with architects, RTL designers, and software development teams to build emulation and prototype models.
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues in pre-silicon and post-silicon environments.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain knowledge bases, documentation, and best practices for SoC validation.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Pre & post silicon IP or SOC Validation.
  • Working knowledge of HSIO protocols PCIE, ethernet, ORAN/eCPRI, and legacy IO - I2C/I3C, UART, GPIO, SPI.
  • Extensive experience with engineering lab equipment, oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, signal generators, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more types of emulators (Palladium, Protium, Zebu).
  • Hands-on experience and well-versed in one or more scripting languages like C, Tcl, and Python.
  • Extensive experience with debug techniques and methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of PC architectures and system technologies.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in EE, CE, or CS.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with SOC fabrics, memory controllers, and SOC peripherals.
