We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer with a strong background in developing compelling proposals for Federal, State, and Local Government contracts. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing, organization, and project management skills, with a deep understanding of the government RFP/RFI/RFQ process.This role requires close collaboration with business development, solution, and pricing teams to create persuasive, compliant, and high-quality proposals that align with organizational goals and client requirements.Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and interpret RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs from federal and government agencies. - Coordinate with internal teams (sales, technical, pricing, and delivery) to gather necessary information for proposal development. - Write, edit, and format proposals to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with solicitation requirements. - Develop executive summaries, technical narratives, management approaches, and past performance sections. - Maintain and update proposal templates, boilerplate content, and capability statements. - Manage proposal schedules, deadlines, and submission logistics. - Ensure all deliverables adhere to agency requirements and company branding standards. - Support color team reviews (Pink, Red, Gold) and incorporate feedback into final submissions. - Track and manage multiple proposals simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred). - 3–7 years of experience writing proposals for Federal, State, or Local Government contracts. - Proven understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and government procurement processes. - Strong command of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat; experience with proposal management tools is a plus. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. - Experience in writing for IT services, digital transformation, or staffing proposals preferred.Preferred Skills:- APMP (Association of Proposal Management Professionals) certification is a plus. - Experience with GSA schedules, IDIQs, BPAs, and GWACs. - Strong understanding of technical and management proposal sections for government bids.
