Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the entire engineering team to build our new flagship moonshot product in the space of AI and recruitment

- Technical architecture of product and Devops required to deploy and maintain the applications in different environments

- Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence and craftsmanship within the team by ensuring the team follows best practices of software development and design patterns along with reviewing their work to give timely feedback.

- Continuously upskill on latest developments in LLMs, RAG, Ranking algorithms and AI in general to constantly improve the product

- Initiate and drive cross-functional collaborations with Product, Business, and Design teams to gather feedback and requirements.

- Ensure alignment of team goals with Upraised's broader company objectives.

- Mentor and manage the professional development of direct reports.

- Recruit and build a high-quality engineering team.

- Navigate ambiguity, drive large-scale software solutions, and manage competing priorities.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.

- 1 to 2 years of experience managing a team of software engineers.

- Strong technical aptitude with a proven track record of ownership and results.

- Experience working with LLMs, RAG is a plus.

- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to architect solutions based on requirements and constraints and good in-depth understanding of developing and deploying web applications

Preferred :

- Active side projects or contributions to open-source on GitHub.

- If you have been a technical cofounder and worked on an idea tirelessly

- Experience working at a high growth product company.
