Description/Responsibilities: As a Finance and Administrative Specialist at Fresh Platter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and smooth operation of our businesses. Your responsibilities will include:


1) Financial Management:

  • Expertly manage all aspects of finance, with a specific focus on bananas, using tools such as Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory.
  • Ensure accurate recording and accounting of financial transactions related to sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable and accounts payable, maintaining meticulous records to track financial activities.
  • Generate comprehensive financial reports and analyses to provide insights into revenue, costs, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop strategies for optimizing financial performance and efficiency.


2) Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations, with a particular emphasis on banana-related activities.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics and supply chain management for our products, including procurement, transportation, and distribution.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to cultivation, processing, and distribution.
  • Support cross-functional teams and departments with administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the overall success of the business.


Qualifications:

1) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.

2) A minimum of 5 years' experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within the fruits & vegetables (F&V) industry.

3) Expertise in using financial and inventory management software - Zoho Books and Zoho Inventory - is a must.

4) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on banana-related financial data and metrics.

5) Passion and commitment to Fresh Platter's mission of delivering sustainable, high-quality food experiences.


Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

1) Excellent communication skills in Kannada, Hindi, and English.

2) Basic conversational skills in Telugu and Tamil would be beneficial.

3) Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
