Overview :


We're seeking a senior Xamarin developer to join our growing team.

Your role will focus on leveraging Xamarin for cross-platform mobile app development, contributing to our innovative personal fitness planning application. You'll work alongside our diverse development team to deliver cutting-edge software solutions.

Essential prerequisites include a track record of experience in Xamarin in mobile app development, as well as knowledge of front-end technologies. Previous involvement in retail, fitness,health, or related applications is a strong advantage.

Your day-to-day responsibilities :

Cross-platform Component Development :

- Design and implement reusable user interface components using Xamarin.

- Forms for cross-platform deployment, ensuring compatibility with both iOS and Android platforms.

Employ Xamarin :


- Forms XAML and leverage platform-specific rendering for optimal performance

Data Flow Management :


- Oversee the flow and storage of data within the application, ensuring a seamless and optimized user experience.

Utilize Xamarin :


- Forms or Xamarin


- Native for efficient data management.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization :


- Proactively monitor application performance using Xamarin

- Profiler and Xamarin Insights throughout the software development cycle.

- Utilize Xamarin Profiler for detailed performance analysis, and implement optimizations using Xamarin's asynchronous programming features.

Codebase Enhancement :

- Contribute to the improvement of the Xamarin codebase, employing Xamarin

- Inspector for real-time debugging and Xamarin Analyzers for code quality checks.

Testing and Quality Assurance :


- Develop and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests using tools like Xamarin.

- UITest for UI testing and NUnit or MSTest for backend testing.

Cross-functional collaboration :

- Actively participate in Xamarin-specific peer code reviews, employing tools like Visual Studio Live Share for real-time collaboration.

- Actively participate in design sessions with UX/UI designers and the development team, using tools like Sketch or Figma, to create reusable Xamarin.

- Forms components adhering to Material Design principles.

- Collaborate closely with backend developers, utilizing technologies such as ASP. NET Core or Node.js, to ensure the seamless integration of Xamarin components.

- Attend daily stand-up meetings to foster team alignment and help maintain a high-quality Xamarin codebase.

- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders using communication tools such as Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom to align on project objectives.

Education :


- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred.

- Microsoft-certified candidates with significant technical experience will also be considered.

Experience :


- 3+ years of Xamarin development experience along with MAUI knowledge.

Interpersonal skills :

- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts within the development team and with non-technical stakeholders

- Openness to feedback and an ability to leverage that feedback to innovate and solve problems.

- Curiosity to dig deeper, analyze complex issues, and make informed decisions

- Adaptability to changes in tools, methodologies, and project scope

- The ability to break down challenges into manageable milestones

- Willingness to actively support team members and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
