Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Developer located in Chennai. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer with a focus on microservices architecture to join our innovative software development team. Full Stack Development:

  • Develop scalable and resilient web applications utilizing Python, Django REST framework, MongoDB, and ReactJS.
  • Implement both server-side and client-side components, ensuring seamless and responsive user experiences.

Microservices Architecture:

  • Design, and implement microservices-based solutions, promoting modularity, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Collaborate with the development team to define microservices boundaries, interfaces, and interactions.

Database Design and Management:

  • Design and manage MongoDB databases, optimizing for efficiency, performance, and scalability.
  • Ensure seamless integration between microservices and databases.

API Development:

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using Django REST framework to facilitate communication between microservices.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate API endpoints into the user interface.

Frontend Development:

  • Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using ReactJS.
  • Ensure alignment of web design and user experience requirements, optimizing the application for speed and scalability.

Code Review and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, microservices best practices, and maintainable code.
  • Implement and promote quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality and error-free software.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to realize the product vision.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for the codebase, APIs, microservices architecture, and databases.
  • Create technical documentation accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in Python, Django REST framework, MongoDB, ReactJS, and an understanding of microservices principles.
  • Solid understanding of web development concepts, including RESTful services, MVC architecture, and single-page applications.
  • Experience with database design, optimization, and management, especially with MongoDB.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with other front-end frameworks such as Angular or VueJS.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
