Deputy General Manager Finance Controller (CA) - Logistics the Role:

Seeking a dynamic and experienced finance professional to lead core accounting operations and drive financial process excellence in a high-growth, high-transaction-volume environment. This is a senior role requiring deep expertise in accounting standards, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a finance team of ~15 members

- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Asset Register (FAR), General Ledger (GL), payroll accounting, and ESOP accounting

- Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing and reporting

- Implement and monitor internal controls and continuous process improvements

- Handle interactions with statutory auditors and resolve audit queries

- Ensure compliance with IND AS and other applicable accounting standards

- Conduct regular balance sheet and P&L reviews

- Implement robust ledger scrutiny processes

- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations

- Ensure adequacy of ERP and financial system controls

- Partner with technology and operations teams for accurate cost reporting and control

Skills & Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8 to 12 years of post-qualification experience

- Proven experience in managing high-volume accounting operations

- Strong leadership and people management skills

- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration

- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)

- Exposure to high-growth, tech-driven or e-commerce environments preferred (ref:iimjobs.com)
