Responsibilities Key Deliverables The Deputy Manager - SQA will have a diverse set of responsibilities and key deliverables Establishing Quality plan for the Bought out parts of Electrical Electronics commodity such as BMS wiring harness cables Lighting systems Electronic control modules Performing Incoming inspection to ensure defect free parts Participation and Coordination of concern resolution with Field Assembly line Sharing lessons learned from product families with the platform team for new product development Providing support and involvement in new product development improvements through early involvement into product development Process Establishing corrective action plans using structured approaches such as 8D 7QC Tools Six Sigma for quality issues reported in assembly Line Warranty failures Monitoring supplier performance and driving for performance excellence Improving supplier capability by conducting periodic audits Training engagement PPAP Re-PPAP Planning Audit and approval for Engineering changes Experience The ideal candidate for the Deputy Manager - SQA position should have 6-8 years of relevant experience in a similar role This experience should include working with quality planning supplier performance monitoring corrective action planning and involvement in new product development improvements Industry Preferred Qualifications The qualifications required for this role are a BE in Mech Auto Production Additionally any certifications in Quality Management Lean Six Sigma or Supplier Quality Assurance will be advantageous General Requirements To excel in the Deputy Manager - SQA role the candidate should demonstrate strong analytical skills excellent problem-solving abilities effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Attention to detail a proactive approach to quality improvement and a passion for driving excellence are also essential
