The Role
The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial aspects of the business. This role ensures accuracy in financial reporting, cost control, inventory management, and compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a solid understanding of Dressfolk's operations and financial management.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and procedures related to business
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, cost of goods sold and gross profit margins
- Prepare and review weekly/monthly financial reports, including P&L statements, to ensure accuracy and identify trends or discrepancies.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for food and beverage operations.
- Analyze variances between actual performance and budgeted figures, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Cost Control and Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels and conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and prevent losses.
- Implement and monitor cost control measures to optimize food and beverage expenses.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and manage procurement processes effectively.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and financial standards.
- Prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct audits and internal reviews to identify and rectify any financial or operational issues.
Who we seek
- CA with at least 3+ years of experience : Mandatory
- Proven experience in a financial management or control role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, or accounting software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
