Role Overview

The Head of Finance will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of Barcode Entertainment, ensuring operational efficiency, and driving profitability. This position involves overseeing financial planning, reporting, risk management, and compliance, while contributing to the company’s growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Financial Planning

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth goals.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to provide financial insights and recommendations.

2. Financial Operations & Management

• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, payroll, and treasury.
• Optimize cash flow management and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
• Establish and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and systems.

3. Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the CEO and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial performance, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Track and improve key financial metrics, such as profitability and ROI on campaigns.

4. Risk Management & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements.
• Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.

5. Leadership & Team Development

• Build and lead a high-performing finance team to meet the demands of a growing business.
• Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities for team members.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and innovation within the finance team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years in finance leadership roles, preferably in digital marketing, advertising, or similar industries.
• Proven experience in scaling businesses and managing multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Expertise in financial modeling, analysis, and strategic planning.
• Strong knowledge of Indian financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate compliance.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in financial tools and software, such as Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks.
