About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with a strong background in both manual and automated software testing, coupled with solid networking experience, to join our product quality assurance team.

The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of complex software and hardware systems, particularly in networking and advanced technology domains such as cryptography and quantum communications.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts covering functional, non-functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Design and implement robust automated testing frameworks to improve testing efficiency, repeatability, and coverage.

- Perform comprehensive system-level testing including compatibility and stress/load testing across different environments.

- Test network hardware and software components such as routers, switches, and related infrastructure for functional and performance correctness.

- Collaborate closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies.

- Participate actively in code reviews to enhance testability, ensure quality, and enforce best practices.

- Work with cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and isolate defects; provide clear, detailed defect reports and validation feedback.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for QA processes, testing tools, and methodologies.

- Ensure product quality aligns with business and technical requirements by proactively identifying risk areas and suggesting mitigation strategies.

- Stay updated with latest trends and advancements in quantum technology, cryptography, communication protocols, and incorporate relevant testing approaches.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 2-7 years of experience in software testing, with proven skills in both manual and automated testing methodologies.

- Strong hands-on experience testing network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and familiarity with network protocols and environments.

- Proficient in building and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripting using tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

- Knowledge of cryptographic systems, quantum technology products, and security protocols is a strong advantage.

- Experience with test management tools (JIRA, TestRail), automation frameworks, and debugging tools.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze test results, isolate issues, and propose practical solutions.

- Hands-on experience with hardware testing is a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams
