Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Network Engineer to join our engineering and integration team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on field experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and a deep understanding of network security and integration. You'll be working closely with our hardware and software teams to ensure secure and efficient deployment of QNu's solutions in various customer environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Deploy, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including switches, routers, and firewalls.

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customer environments, both remotely and onsite.

- Integrate QNu Labs' quantum security products with customer networks.

- Conduct network assessments and recommend improvements to enhance performance and security.

- Manage network-related incidents, changes, and problems following ITIL processes.

- Collaborate with software and hardware teams during product testing, deployment, and integration.

- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect data in transit and at rest.

- Document technical procedures, configurations, and solutions for internal and external stakeholders.

- Stay updated with the latest trends in cybersecurity, networking, and cryptographic technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and support.

- Mandatory field experience - willingness and ability to work onsite at customer locations as needed.

- Proficient in Layer 2/3 networking, including switching, routing, VLANs, and subnetting.

- Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security appliances.

- Proficiency with Linux-based systems (UNIX, Red Hat) - Windows experience not preferred.

- Understanding of network and data security principles, including cryptographic concepts.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple tasks.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Familiarity with scripting and automation using tools like Python, Bash, or Ansible.

- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are preferred.
