Position: Purchase Executive

Industry: Electrical Trading

Location: New Delhi

Work Schedule: Work from Office

Reporting to: Respective Manager

Compensation: ₹16,000 – ₹18,000 Per Month

Role Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Executive who will handle end-to-end procurement of electrical items, ensuring the right products are sourced at the right cost, on time, and as per technical requirements. The role demands strong vendor management, negotiation, and technical understanding of electrical materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  • Float RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
  • Maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with project/logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).
  • Ensure purchases are made within budget and in compliance with company procurement guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
