Position Title: Lead – JAE & PMS

Function: Human Resources

Location: Worli, Mumbai


Job Responsibilities:

The role involves driving, managing, and implementing Performance Management Systems (PMS) and Job Analysis & Evaluation (JAE) processes, practices, guidelines, and policies across the Chemicals, Fashion Yarn, and Insulators businesses of Aditya Birla Group. This responsibility spans 20 plants located in 5 countries. The position will report to the Business Center of Excellence (BCoE) for JAE, Performance & Rewards.


Roles and responsibilities:

  • Job Analysis and Evaluation: Conduct JAE exercises and periodically review current roles to prepare job descriptions as needed.
  • Performance Management: Lead end to end management of performance management cycles including goal setting, mid-year performance review and end year performance review, performance rating normalization with senior management.
  • Manage PMS cycles, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and end-year performance evaluations, ensuring performance ratings are normalized with senior management.
  • Support in implementing Group JAE & PMS policies & guidelines at the business & unit level.
  • HR Capability Building: Develop and execute initiatives to enhance HR and Business managers' capabilities in job evaluation and performance management.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education Qualification: MBA/ PGDM (HR)
  • 4-7 years of experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 3 years focused on overseeing complete Performance Management Systems (PMS).
  • Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred.
