We’re Hiring: Assistant Manager / Manager – TaxationLocation: Churchgate, MumbaiCompany: Mafatlal Industries LimitedMafatlal Industries Limited is looking for a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience (excluding articleship). The role requires strong expertise in Direct Taxation along with working knowledge of Indirect Tax (GST).Key Responsibilities (80% Direct Taxation & 20% Indirect Taxation)- Manage end-to-end Direct Tax compliance including TDS, TCS, Advance Tax, tax computations, and return filing - Handle Income Tax assessments, appeals, refunds, rectifications, and coordinate with consultants and tax authorities - Oversee tax provisioning, statutory reporting, and support in Direct Tax audits - Support tax planning, litigation matters, and preparation of tax audit reports - Manage routine GST compliance including return filing, reconciliations, and responding to noticesDesired Profile- Qualified CA with 4–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience (excluding articleship) - Strong technical understanding of Income Tax laws and working knowledge of GST - Proficiency in SAP and MS Office - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilitiesInterested candidates can share their resume at: recruitment@mafatlals.com
