The company's growing capacity, competitive pricing, and service excellence cater to customers across North America daily, earning them the title of the transportation people.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager (Freight) at Freight Machos Inc. The role involves daily tasks such as developing new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with current clients, negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, and collaborating with internal teams to meet sales targets.Roles & Responsibilities:• Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with customers by ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction continuously.• Management and retention of defined customer portfolio.• Develop and execute sales plan/strategy/activities to achieve target budgets.• Negotiate with customers on contractual terms of service provision that is aligned with corporate sales policy and procedures.• Actively plan, prepare, and realize sales calls for better customer retention and new business acquisition.Skills, Qualifications & Experience:• Minimum 4-6 years of working experience in field sales at freight forwarding.• Broad understanding of trade lane specifics in the forwarding industry and deep knowledge of Air Freight and logistics business models.• A master’s degree is preferred in the relevant field.• Capability to deliver presentations and is highly effective in conducting sales negotiations.• Must have proven sales record.• Must have excellent communication, management, and interpersonal skills.• Command over Microsoft Office and other related software.
