Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and maintaining the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, and performance of our systems. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee the planning, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the company's servers, networking equipment, and other IT infrastructure components.
  • System Monitoring: Monitor performance of systems and networks, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to ensure optimal uptime.
  • Network Administration: Manage network components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs to ensure a secure, stable, and scalable network environment.
  • Data Backup & Recovery: Develop and implement data backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity procedures.
  • Software & Hardware Support: Provide support for various operating systems, software applications, and hardware devices, troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT infrastructure, configurations, and network diagrams for internal records and troubleshooting.
  • Upgrades & Patches: Apply system updates, patches, and service packs to ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest security and functionality improvements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, and storage systems.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with networking protocols, security configurations, and firewall management.
  • Hands-on experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.) and system administration tasks.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and diagnostic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
Preferred Skills:
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or similar.
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other networking services.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining VoIP and communication systems.
