Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As an Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Infrastructure: Utilize tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC).
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment, testing, and integration processes.
  • Cloud Resource Management: Manage and optimize cloud resources (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalability, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
  • Monitoring and Incident Management: Set up comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively manage system health and uptime.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Work with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications and manage deployments and scaling.
  • Collaboration: Partner with development teams to integrate their workflows into the DevOps pipeline, ensuring smooth and timely delivery of new features.
  • Security Best Practices: Implement and enforce security protocols, ensuring data protection and compliance with relevant standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Continuously assess infrastructure performance and optimize for efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Disaster Recovery: Ensure disaster recovery procedures are in place and regularly tested.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role, with a focus on CI/CD, cloud services, and automation.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient with AWS (or GCP/Azure), EC2, S3, RDS, and related cloud services.
    • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or TravisCI.
    • Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
    • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
    • Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or similar.
    • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
    • Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and application performance tuning.
    • Knowledge of security best practices (e.g., IAM, encryption, VPNs).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with Serverless Architectures: Familiarity with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile Development Practices: Knowledge of Agile development practices is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services Domain: Familiarity with the financial services or fintech domain is a plus.
