Data Engineer/ Solution Architect

Location : Pune/Nagpur (WFO)

Experience Required : 8+ Years

Notice Period : Immediate to Max 30 days only

Must have Skills : Big data environments - Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera, Advanced SQL, PySpark and Domain Knowledge - Banking and Finance Domain (MUST HAVE)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Data Engineer / Solution Architect with strong expertise in both technical and functional aspects of Banking and Finance. The ideal candidate will have a balanced background of 50% technical and 50% functional expertise, with proven ability to design and deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, architect, and implement high-performance data solutions for large-scale banking and finance systems.

- Optimize and maintain big data environments using Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera, Advanced SQL, and PySpark.

- Translate complex business requirements into actionable data strategies and technical solutions.

- Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed data processing systems.

- Work closely with stakeholders to align data engineering solutions with business objectives.

- Ensure scalability, performance, and security of enterprise data solutions.

- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering best practices in data engineering.

Mandatory Skills & Experience :

- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in data engineering / solution architecture.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Hadoop, Spark, Cloudera, Advanced SQL, and PySpark.

- Proven experience in database optimization, data modeling, and performance tuning.

- Solid functional knowledge of the Banking and Finance domain (especially CASA products).

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

- Ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.
