About The Role

VMS Ventures LLP, through its brand The Paddle Zone, is on a mission to expand its footprint by developing world-class Padel and Pickleball facilities across India. We are looking for a Venue Acquisition & Partnerships Manager to spearhead our expansion efforts by identifying, negotiating, and securing new locations while fostering strategic partnerships with government bodies, private institutions, real estate developers, and sports complexes.

This role is ideal for a proactive, strategic thinker with experience in business development, real estate negotiations, or sports infrastructure expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

Venue Acquisition & Expansion:

- Identify and evaluate potential locations for Padel & Pickleball courts, including government, private, and institutional properties.

- Negotiate lease agreements, revenue-sharing models, or joint ventures with landowners, sports clubs, educational institutions, and corporate entities.

- Assess feasibility and financial viability of proposed locations, ensuring alignment with company growth plans.

- Work closely with construction and operations teams to ensure smooth setup of new venues.

Strategic Partnerships & Relationship Management

- Develop and manage partnerships with government authorities, sports federations, schools, universities, and real estate developers to expand The Paddle Zone's presence.

- Drive collaborations with sports equipment brands, event organizers, and training academies to enhance facility offerings.

- Represent The Paddle Zone at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to build brand awareness and explore expansion opportunities.

Market Research & Business Development:

- Conduct market research to identify high-potential areas for new facilities based on demand, demographics, and competitor analysis.

- Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to refine expansion approaches.

- Work with the marketing team to promote new venue launches and drive customer engagement.

Financial & Contractual Oversight:

- Structure and negotiate investment, lease, and revenue-share agreements for new venues.

- Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts comply with company policies and financial goals.

- Track and report on performance metrics for newly acquired venues to optimize profitability.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Experience: Minimum 5 years in business development, real estate, sports facility management, or related fields.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Sports Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Skills Required:

- Strong negotiation and deal-making abilities.

- Knowledge of real estate leasing, revenue-sharing models, and sports infrastructure development.

- Ability to build and maintain high-level partnerships.

- Analytical mindset with financial acumen for assessing project viability.

- Excellent communication and networking skills.

- Passion for sports, especially Padel & Pickleball, is a plus.
