Job Overview

We are seeking a talented IMOS CAD CAM Designer for a full-time, mid-level position in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional with expertise in CAD and CAM tools, specifically within the context of woodworking design and sheet metal design.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in IMOS software is essential for creating detailed CAD and CAM designs for manufacturing (Mandatory skill).
  • Strong CAD skills are necessary for producing accurate and comprehensive design schematics (Mandatory skill).
  • Experience with CAM processes to optimize manufacturing efficiency and precision is required (Mandatory skill).
  • In-depth knowledge of woodworking design to create functional and aesthetically pleasing products.
  • Expertise in 3D modeling, allowing for the visualization of complex structures and assemblies.
  • Capability in sheet metal design required to develop precise and production-ready designs.
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility and effectiveness.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to address design challenges.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create and modify CAD designs using IMOS software to meet the specific project requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with production teams to align design modifications with manufacturing capabilities.
  • Develop CAM strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce material waste.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and project specifications.
  • Perform regular quality checks to maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in designs.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into functional design plans.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation for all design projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in CAD, CAM, and design technology.
