We know it too.For nearly 30 years, the incredible minds at Cognyte around the world have worked closely together and put their expertise to work, to keep up with constantly evolving technological and criminal trends, and help make the world a safer place with leading investigative analytics software solutions.We are defined by our dedication to doing good and this translates to business success, meaningful work friendships, a can-do attitude, and deep curiosity.We are looking for an exceptional and passionate C++ Team Leader to lead a C++ development team, working on IP protocols, Networking Probes and deep packet inspection solutions.As a Cognyter you will:- Hire, lead and manage a team, providing technical guidance and support - Be the Scrum Master for the team, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives - Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality standards - Lead the design of the features - Monitor the execution of tasks and ensure timely completion of project milestones - Identify and address any blockers or impediments that may arise during the development process, taking proactive steps to resolve them - Facilitate effective communication and collaboration within the team, as well as with other stakeholders - Coach and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and promote professional growth - Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement - Working closely with R&D teams in a remote offices.For that mission you’ll need:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field - Demonstrated success in building and leading development teams, with at least 3 years of experience in a team leadership role - Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience as a Scrum Master - Extensive hands-on experience in C++ development, including code reviews - Knowledge of IP networking and protocols (all OSI layers) - Familiarity with cloud-native principles and architectures - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues in a large-scale and complex systems - Willingness to travel abroad - Fluent verbal & written communication in English* The position is located at Pune India.
