
Territory Sales Manager

About the Role:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Territory Sales Manager to manage and expand our Channel Partner and Business Correspondent (BC) network. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in sales, channel development, and stakeholder management, particularly in the BFSI or FinTech space.
Key Responsibilities (KRA):
- Drive sales targets by managing and growing BC and channel partner networks in the assigned territory
- Identify, onboard, and activate new Business Correspondents and agents
- Ensure consistent lead generation and conversion through partners
- Monitor partner performance and ensure productivity benchmarks are met
- Conduct regular training and capacity-building sessions for BCs and channel teams
- Manage end-to-end relationship with channel partners, ensuring compliance and service quality
- Work closely with internal teams (credit, operations, and collections) for smooth onboarding and post-sales activities
- Analyze sales trends and market conditions to identify growth opportunities
- Track competition and suggest counter-strategies
- Ensure timely MIS reporting and documentation
Required Skillsets:
- Strong understanding of channel sales and BC model in financial services or related sectors
- Experience in managing rural/semi-urban field sales teams or agents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in a target-driven environment
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of local market dynamics and customer behavior
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred)
