Snapmint was started by a closely-knit team of passionate bankers and technocrats from IIT Bombay. We are looking for a candidate who can handle tax queries



About the role:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Accounts to manage the reconciliation of merchant transactions. This role involves ensuring accurate financial records, maintaining reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies related to merchant accounts in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform timely reconciliation of all merchant transactions (including fees, refunds, and settlements) across multiple platforms and payment gateways.
  • Investigate discrepancies between merchant records and company financials, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with payment processors, banks, and merchants to resolve transaction-related issues.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records related to merchant accounts, ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and external regulations.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and reconciliation summaries.
  • Support the month-end closing process by ensuring all merchant-related transactions are accounted for.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, and finance to resolve reconciliation issues and improve workflows.


Experience & Qualification Required:

  • B.com or CA Inter with minimum of 3 years of work experience in fast paced environments with huge volume of daily transactions
  • Experience in handling large accounts in new age companies
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues independently while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Have good knowledge in MS-Excel

Location: Mumbai (Nahur Central Line)


Working days: 5 days & alternate sat working
