Your New Role:


•Partner with Business Stakeholders to understand use case requirements and to help identify opportunities to deliver business value.

•Unlock value for the business using data insights and create business impact

•Translate business requirements into functional specification documentation.

•Design dashboards that at-a-glance provide actionable insights.

•Identify and document business metrics, working to standardise data sources and definitions.

•Support the team in capability in end-to-end delivery of analytics.

•Gathering, validating and documenting business requirements for analytics including ensuring the completeness and coverage.

•Effective prioritisation and completion of assigned activities.

•Design, build, prototype, visualise, test and deploy based on business requirements. This applies to visualisation of the dashboard, data design and ETL.

•Ensuring documentation are to date.

•Refresh reports at the agreed SLA, including any data collection or ingestion required for the report refresh.

•Support and maintenance of data models and dashboard reporting using Power BI.


What you will bring:

  • 3-8 years' experience extracting insights from structured and unstructured data to deliver business value
  • Have experience hosting/contributing in design consultation workshops.
  • Stakeholder management with clear requirements articulation.
  • Hands-on experience using PowerBI to present analytical insights and findings to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of different design approaches to build effective visualization in Power BI that deliver key messages.
  • Hands on experience in creating high performing data models (star schema) via Power BI to build high performing reports.
  • Experience in using different import methods in Power BI with respective to dataset size, effectively.
  • Hands-on experience using joins, window functions in SQL and Python. (Py) Spark highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience using cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and data SaaS applications (Databricks preferred)
  • Hands-on experience using source code control using Github.
  • Knowledge of Banking and financial products. (Nice to have).


Qualification Requirements

Tertiary degree in Data Analytics or Data Engineering (or equivalent qualification).
