Key Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement strategies to drive excellence in manufacturing operations through the adoption and optimization of MES and Industry 4.0 technologies.


• Lead a team of experts in the areas of MES and Industry 4.0 to provide guidance, support and expertise to various production sites.


• Define and manage the roadmap for the development and implementation of MES and Industry 4.0 technologies. It will cover development Tools and Accelerators to support the delivery team.


• Collaborate with production teams, customer and management to identify opportunities for optimization, and streamlining of manufacturing processes.


• Develop and maintain a library of best practices, standards and guidelines for the implementation of MES and Industry 4.0 technologies.


• Act as a subject matter expert in the areas of MES and Industry 4.0 and participate in industry conferences and events to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies.


• Develop training programs and provide training to internal teams on the use and implementation of MES and Industry 4.0 technologies.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.


• Analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify trends to drive continuous improvement.


• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• 10+ years of experience in MES and Industry 4.0 implementation and maintenance

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations

• Proven experience leading a team of experts in the areas of MES and Industry 4.0

• Hands-on experience with MES and Industry 4.0 technologies, such as Ignition, Apriso.

• Experience with project management methodologies and tools

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Hands-On experience in PLC, SCADA and Rockwell.

• Experience with change management and training programs for the adoption of new

technologies like IIOT, ChatGPT linking it to business use cases.

• Preference will be industry experience from Automotive, Industrial Heavy Machinery.


In addition to the above qualifications and attributes, a successful CoE lead should have a

passion for driving manufacturing excellence through the implementation of cutting-edge

technologies, as well as a commitment to continuous learning.
