Purpose of the Position (Short Summary of the Role):

To enhance the technical competencies of VWITS IT teams towards excellence in various technologies and standardize technology best practices, building technology competencies across the organization.


Key Responsibilities &Tasks:

  • Technology Consulting for Digital Technologies (Full Stack, Cloud, SAP ERP, Cloud, AI …). Technology Solution architecture, design and recommendations
  • Driving Technology Competency programs across the IT organization, Technology events and communities setup and working with LD on technology competency programs. Building and scaling Technology COEs (Center of Excellence). Incubating new COEs as we grow on new technologies.
  • Drive Co-innovation on various technology. Rapid prototyping, POC, IP and MVP creation of ideas for Technology Products and Services (traditional technology and emerging technologies)
  • Enablement for Delivery organization with Software Engineering and Delivery best practice sharing and Technology Leadership and Systems Integration.
  • Managing Tech. COE P&L and Budget Planning and Managing team (Sr Technology & Domain Architects. Driving 6 Cs for Technology COEs
  • Thought Leadership – Planning and executive Technology Trends communication across the organization in India and global IT teams. Responsible for planning and managing technology posts, articles etc on Social media handle – LinkedIn along with the Internal technology communications team.
  • Ownership on technology events and roadshows demonstrating technology solutions across the organizations and the internal customers


Technical Skills/Competencies:


  • Total of 20+ years of Experience in IT / technology with hands on work in multiple technologies spanning across Java / Microsoft / SAP / BI / Cloud / Mobile / Testing / CMS / Middleware / Database / Data Analytics / AI/ML and Agile working Methodologies. Worked as Enterprise Architecture for customers/ clients
  • Full SW development experience – Architecture, Design to development and testing, support services
  • Experience in Solution & Domain Architecture designing complex enterprise system, security, middleware and data architectures across the enterprise IT landscape using techniques such as structured analysis, data modelling and information engineering. Worked on AI & GenAI Architecture models, design and development principles and Cloud principles
  • Possess strong understanding of various design patterns, application frameworks, 3rd party products and solutions available in the field that will improve the productivity and quality of the solution.
  • Knowledge of Modern SW development techniques - Agile, Lean, DevOps, DevSecOps, automation frameworks etc.Experience in solutioning of Legacy Modernization projects and programs and cloud adoption /migration


Functional Skills/Competencies:

  • Experienced on leading Solution Architect Teams in the pervious roles (local/global). Providing Technical guidance and people management – performance management and career planning
  • Demonstrates excellence stakeholder management capabilities. Influencing leadership qualities to drive extended teams in the organization
  • Executive Communication Experience. Interaction with CxOs and Delivery Heads/ Leaders and good technology presentation and communication capabilities
  • Consultative mindset on Technology. Capability to build Technology frameworks. Worked in past in a Technology Consulting organization would be preferred.
