Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive to drive growth, expand our market presence, and establish Allrounder.ai as a leader in the EdTech industry. This role requires a results-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses deep sales experience, and has a strong understanding of the EdTech sector. You will be responsible for generating new business, managing key accounts, and leading sales cycles from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Identify and target new business opportunities within the EdTech, K-12, higher education, and corporate sectors.
- Develop and execute strategies to prospect, qualify, and generate leads through networking, cold calling, industry events, and digital marketing campaigns.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and prioritization.
Sales Presentations & Product Demos:
- Lead product demonstrations, sales presentations, and discussions with potential clients to showcase the benefits of Allrounder.ai’s platform.
- Customize presentations based on customer needs, pain points, and goals, and highlight how AI-driven solutions can solve specific educational challenges.
Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Manage relationships with key clients, ensuring the delivery of a seamless and high-value experience throughout the customer journey.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing queries, concerns, and resolving issues quickly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders at institutions, universities, and corporate training centers.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a sales strategy to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align on messaging, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and terms to close sales deals, ensuring profitability while delivering on client needs.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with customer success, product, and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation, and to provide continuous value to clients.
- Provide feedback on customer needs, competitive offerings, and market trends to inform product development and sales strategies.
Sales Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Use CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage the sales pipeline, track activities, and forecast opportunities accurately.
- Provide regular reports to the senior leadership team on sales progress, win/loss analysis, and overall performance.
Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:
- Stay updated on the latest EdTech trends, emerging technologies, and competitors in the market.
- Leverage this information to adjust sales strategies, identify new opportunities, and refine messaging to meet client needs effectively.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience: 6-15 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management, with a strong track record in EdTech.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of the EdTech landscape, including digital learning tools, LMS (Learning Management Systems), AI in education, and emerging technologies.
- Proven ability to manage and close complex sales cycles and build relationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze client needs, provide consultative selling, and deliver tailored solutions.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in selling AI-powered solutions, learning management systems, or educational technology products.
- A network within the Indian EdTech ecosystem and familiarity with key institutions, universities, or corporate training providers.
- Experience in selling to both educational institutions (schools, universities) and corporate clients (training departments, HR, L&D).
