Role Summary :

The Lead Data Analytics is responsible for establishing and managing the data management foundation. This includes the implementation of Azure data lake/warehouse, data-mart, business and operation control towers, Power BI dashboards, and business analytics.

Role holder is responsible to oversee the data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards, as well as the data integration, transformation, and visualization processes.

Work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to understand the data needs, define the data strategy, and deliver data-driven solutions to ensure that data is leveraged as a strategic asset, driving insights and value across the organization to support our strategic goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain the data architecture, models, and pipelines that enable data ingestion, storage, processing, and analysis across the organization.

- Design, Implement and optimize the data lake/warehouse, data-marts, and data cubes using Azure and other cloud-based technologies for advanced analytics.

- Develop and maintain a data-mart (Gold layer) to support the organization's data needs.

- Develop and implement the data governance framework, policies, and procedures to ensure data quality, accuracy, consistency, and security.

- Ensure data governance and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.

- Lead the data integration and transformation processes using ETL/ELT tools and techniques.

- Create and manage the business and operation control towers, dashboards, reports using Power BI and other visualization tools to visualize key metrics and insights for stakeholders.

- Provide business analytics and insights to support decision making, performance measurement, and process improvement.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.

- Manage and mentor a team of data analysts and engineers, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in data management and analytics.

Qualifications and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

- At least 6-8 years of experience in data management and analytics, at least 3 years in a leadership role.

- Strong knowledge and experience in Azure Data Lake/Warehouse, Data-Marts, Power BI, and other cloud-based data platforms and tools.

- Proficient in SQL, Python, R, and other data query, manipulation, and analysis languages and frameworks.

- Experience in data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards and methodologies.

- Experience in data integration and transformation using ETL/ELT tools and techniques.

- Experience in data visualization and reporting using Power BI and other tools.

- Experience in business analytics and insights, and ability to communicate complex data findings in a clear and concise manner.

- Excellent leadership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
