Description :We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with strong experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies.The ideal candidate should have a solid background in UI testing, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and proficiency in Java-based automation frameworks.The role requires a keen eye for detail, problem-solving ability, and a deep understanding of software QA processes and best practices.Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.- Perform UI Testing and ensure seamless end-user experiences across platforms.- Collaborate with development teams to implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) strategies.- Conduct white-box and black-box testing to identify issues across system layers.- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks for efficiency and scalability.- Execute manual tests where automation is not feasible and ensure complete test coverage.- Utilize SQL for backend data validation and DB2 for database testing.- Work with web security tools and ensure adherence to QA best practices and security compliance.- Identify, log, and track defects, and ensure timely resolutions through collaboration with cross-functional teams.- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and automation coverage.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Proven hands-on experience with UI Testing, Automated Testing, and TDD methodologies.- Strong coding experience in Java, and familiarity with HTML5, XML, and DB2.- Solid understanding of software QA tools, testing processes, and web security technologies.- Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing approaches.- Practical experience using automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar) (ref:hirist.tech)
