Key Responsibilities :- Architect, implement, and manage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments for scalable and reliable operations.- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.- Manage cloud networking, security policies, IAM roles, and firewall configurations.- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GoCD, Docker, and Kubernetes.- Write automation scripts in Python or shell to streamline deployment and monitoring processes.- Lead or support cloud migration initiatives from on-premise or other cloud environments to GCP.- Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross-functional global teams to ensure DevOps best practices are embedded into SDLC.- Ensure 24x7 uptime, reliability, performance, and security for production environments.- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues.- Contribute to Agile ceremonies and follow Agile development methodologies.Key Skills & Qualifications :- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or enterprise IT infrastructure.- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and tools.- Expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).- Proficient in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GoCD), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).- Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.- Strong understanding of cloud networking, firewall rules, IAM, and GCP security practices.- Experience with cloud monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis.- Exposure to cloud migration strategies and tools.- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Good to Have :- GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Cloud Architect).- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver) (ref:hirist.tech)
