Role & responsibilities

GCP DevOps

  • Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Datadog Dynatrace and OpenTelemetry to ensure visibility and proactive issue detection across our platforms
  • Work within GCP infrastructure optimizing performance and scaling resources to meet demand
  • Collaborate with development teams to enhance system reliability and performance applying a software engineering mindset to system administration tasks
  • Develop and maintain automated solutions for operational aspects such as oncall monitoring performance tuning and disaster recovery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev test and production environments
  • Design code and review software and system changes with an emphasis on stability and scalability using Java and other relevant technologies
  • Manage and scale our Google Cloud Platform services ensuring data integrity and availability
  • Engage with frontend technologies such as React as required to understand the full stack and contribute to development or troubleshooting
  • Participate in postmortem analysis and create preventative measures for future incidents
  • Collaborate with multiskilled teams working on commercialfleet software solutions
