The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps practices, security, and containerization technologies.✅ Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and manage highly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on GCP.- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.- Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters and containerized applications.- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including IAM, firewalls, and encryption.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform, networking, and infrastructure issues across distributed systems.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and security to ensure adherence to cloud best practices.- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.- Stay up to date with GCP innovations and suggest improvements for platform engineering practices.✅ Primary Skills (Must Have)- Hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Serverless, Data Services).- Strong background in Platform Engineering and DevOps methodologies.- Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) and container orchestration.- In-depth knowledge of cloud networking concepts (VPC, subnets, firewalls, ingress/egress traffic).- Proven experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.- Familiarity with enterprise security tools (e.g., GCP Secret Manager, IAM policies).- Experience with Docker, containerization, and multi-stage Docker builds.- Proficiency with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.✅ Additional Skills (Good to Have)- Experience with Google Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and serverless architectures.- Knowledge of Policy as Code using tools like OPA (Open Policy Agent) or Forseti.- Familiarity with cost optimization strategies on GCP.- Monitoring and observability tools like Google Cloud Operations Suite (Stackdriver), Prometheus, and Grafana.
