Technical Project Manager

This Technical Project Manager (IT - Mobile App / Software Development) position is ON-SITE Working in the office 5 days / week.You'll be well placed in our dynamic and friendly Development Team. Managing Projects from inception to delivery, including all the resources.Situated in the prestigious Silver Utopia Building, Chakala,Andheri East, Mumbai – 400099, MaharashtraThe Technical Project Manager:Is an integral part of Ziksu’s IT and Business operations team. A central figure within Ziksu’s IT department, playing a critical role in overseeing and guiding the successful delivery of technology projects.Leads cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and objectives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet or exceed quality standards.Manages the full project lifecycle from initiation through to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects, ensuring resource availability and allocation.Works closely with business stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of technology solutions, aligning project objectives with business goals and customer needs.Ensures risk management processes are in place to identify and mitigate project risks, maintaining comprehensive project documentation for all phases of the project lifecycle.Promotes a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality, leveraging project management best practices and standards.Requirements of the positionThe incumbent is expected to:Operate within Ziksu’s framework, policies, and procedures, ensuring effective transparency and accountability in all activity.Work collaboratively with staff in other departments to foster a compliance culture, achieve common goals and best practice.Communicate effectively, with staff, at all levels across the organisation.Demonstrate initiative, autonomy, analytical problem-solving skills, and alignment with Ziksu’s strategic objectives. Demonstrate a strong customer focus, always.Consider Ziksu’s objectives first when undertaking all duties, ensuring zero tolerance to non-compliance.Model integrity, professionalism, and respect in all interactions.Champion a compliance culture.Demonstrate exceptional research, conceptual and risk management skills.Actively participate in providing innovative solutions to strategic and complex issues.Display a well-developed knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework, standards, risk management and best practice methodologies relevant to financial compliance.Support organisational change and continuous improvement by actively contributing to achieve Ziksu’s vision, mission, and priorities.Role specific responsibilitiesLead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex and technical projects in line with strategic business objectives.Create and maintain detailed project plans to track progress, key milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.Develop and manage RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs to proactively manage project challenges.Coordinate and manage cross-functional internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.Manage scope, schedule, and cost changes using structured change control and verification techniques.Perform robust risk management to minimize threats and capitalize on opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.Measure and monitor project performance using KPIs, dashboards, and other reporting tools.Produce comprehensive governance reports in collaboration with the Project Management Resource Office (PMRO).Report on project progress, risks, and escalations to senior stakeholders and executive management as needed.Ensure accurate and timely project billing and manage budget compliance.Draft statements of work and contract documentation in collaboration with technical experts and commercial teams.Ensure technical feasibility and availability of skilled resources aligned with project demands.Manage Profit & Loss (P&L) for projects, ensuring profitability and cost control.Drive compliance with deal review, security, and quality standards across all engagements.Maintain all necessary documentation for audits, compliance, and future reference.Form and lead high-performing, cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.Oversee end-to-end quality assurance and delivery processes to meet stakeholder expectations.Provide strategic technical guidance and mentoring to team members and project stakeholders.Lead engagement with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership across multiple projects.Conduct post-project reviews to evaluate success criteria, capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.Oversee a portfolio of concurrent projects and provide leadership, management, coaching, and support to the development and support team.Qualifications & experience:Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field like Business Administration, with a focus on Project Management. Certified PMP (Project Management Professionals) will be highly regarded. Payment Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience and expertise in the payment domain. Experience in financial services is a plus9–12 years of experience managing end-to-end delivery of complex projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and manage large-scale transformation programs.Strong commercial experience including full P&L ownership and strategic budgeting.In-depth experience in creating project plans, managing RAID logs, change controls, and project governance.Experience in managing multi-vendor environments and complex stakeholder ecosystems.Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, and managing the development team to deliver project on time as per business requirements.Expertise in project auditing, compliance, and risk frameworks.Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all stakeholders.You MUST ANSWER the QUESTIONS attached and PROVIDE YOUR RESUME.
