Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced PMO professional to support and oversee multiple technical projects within the financial domain. The ideal candidate will combine strong project governance and communication skills with a good understanding of financial services processes and terminology. This role requires excellent coordination across technical teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to ensure timely and effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the central point of contact for project governance, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Prepare and maintain project dashboards, reports, and executive presentations for senior management.
  • Coordinate with internal technical and business teams to track deliverables, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
  • Facilitate project review meetings, circulate minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, ensuring transparency and timely updates across multiple levels.
  • Support project documentation including charters, trackers, RACI, SOPs, and status reports.
  • Identify risks, issues, and bottlenecks, and assist in driving resolutions.
  • Maintain best practices, templates, and standards for project execution across teams.
  • Assist project managers in resource planning, budgeting, and compliance with organizational processes.
  • Ensure alignment of project execution with financial compliance requirements and domain-specific standards.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to prepare professional presentations (PPTs) and reports.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and coordination abilities to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Basic technical understanding of IT systems, software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Good understanding of financial domain concepts (accounting, financial reporting ).
  • Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Finance, or Business Administration (or related field).
  • PMP / Prince2 / CSM / PMO certification is an advantage.
  • 8+ years of experience in PMO or Project Management roles, with exposure to financial services / BFSI domain projects preferred.
