We are seeking a results-driven and visionary professional to join our leadership team as a GM Finance. The position serves as a trusted advisor to executive management and is responsible for driving organisational excellence through robust financial leadership, governance, and insight. The ideal candidate will bring both strategic acumen and hands-on expertise, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and build strong, collaborative relationships.
Key Responsibilities for GM Finance – Financial Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, aligned with organisational goals and growth ambitions.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis processes, ensuring sound financial decision making.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reporting and insightful analysis to senior management and the board.
- Oversee financial risk management, internal controls and compliance with all relevant statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in finance operations, processes, and systems to maximise efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage cash flow, capital management, and investment strategies to ensure the organisation's financial sustainability.
- Lead annual audit processes and ensure robust relationship management with external auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
- Support and challenge business units and stimulate value creation across all areas of the company.
Required Qualifications and Experience for GM Finance – Financial Management
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent is essential.
- Substantial experience (typically 10+ years) in progressively senior finance roles, preferably within international or multi-entity environments.
- Demonstrable experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, and team management.
- Advanced knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP platforms, and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Proven track record of successful stakeholder management and organisational partnership.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
